The challenge
The photographs record high-level repair work on the Principal Manchester’s exceptionally detailed terracotta and masonry exterior, including the prominent clock tower and constrained city-centre elevations.
Restorex delivery
Restorex operatives worked from specialist high-level access to inspect and repair exposed roofline and façade elements. The project imagery documents close work at parapet level, access-platform operations and a Restorex team mobilised on the live hotel site.
Outcome
The intervention supported the conservation of one of Manchester’s most recognisable historic hotel façades while working around a prominent, operational city-centre property.
